A lot of my clients have come by referral or by conversation on issues/roadblocks in various areas of their business. When first connecting, I like to have a “discovery” conversation, as sometimes what they think they need is a simple fix or easy to leverage if they can easily find a resource.
Most of them are small or solo entrepreneurs that have hit the ceiling of complexity with demands of their job or growth of their business. They recognize their need to leverage but aren’t sure how. Once we have that first or second conversation, we are able to set up a hand off or beta test to see what next steps should be and what we want it to look like. KSI can sometimes be a gateway to other resources out there that are a better fit for the client. We help open ideas on how to fix current issues and open up the door for more work/home capacity.

Jane, a solopreneur attorney, came to us needing some help covering her email while she took a month-long overseas vacation with her family. A close look revealed the need for much more than just a “Jane will be back next month response.” She was receiving, on average, 100 emails per day and missing many prospective client meetings. She needed a process to help her manage the day-to-day correspondence. We started by dividing the emails into varying degrees of importance and organizing by folder. She now receives email summaries addressing the content and actions needed, as well as email response drafts that she can simply edit as she sees fit.
By leveraging KSI’s admin support, Jane is now devoting more time to the income-producing work she is specifically suited for and is no longer missing prospective client meetings.
What high-value work is being denied your time because of the administrative demands of your business? Is it time for you to leverage support and get back to doing what you do best?
